At all times the data is preserved in a central unified database. One of the most powerful features of Procurement is that it ties directly to PMWeb’s Cost Management module. Awarded tenders are automatically issued as commitments in Cost Management, where you can generate contract documents, manage change orders and collect and pay invoices. PMWeb Procurement and Online Bidding make purchasing easy and efficient. Furthermore, because they are part of the all in one PMWeb application, Online Tenders and Procurement are the first two links of a chain of records that eliminates duplicate data entry and provides an unbroken audit trail. Other procurement tools include Vendor Approver, a Vendor self-management tool that streamlines interactions with Vendors both pre and post Contract.
